Electrician (PAYE)

£35,000 - £40,000 per annum

An established electrical contractor based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire have an open vacancy for a qualified electrician to work on a permanent basis. This position would be suitable for someone looking for security and longevity within a reputable company.

Main Responsibilities as an electrician would be:

Reporting to a Building Services Manager, the Electrician will take on the role of supporting on a variety of projects of an electrical commercial and domestic nature within the construction and refurbishment industry.
Due to the nature of our varied projects, works can be nationwide and require flexible working hours. Project sizes will vary from large projects working within a team to smaller projects with pairs or solo working.
Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards, including BS 7671 (Wiring Regulations) to ensure the safety of installations.
Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring all work is completed to their satisfaction.

As an electrician you will be required to have the following:

Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
Experience working within similar sectors
Valid ECS card
Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) or SMSTS
Familiarity with NICEIC and ECA standards and protocols
Full, clean driving license

Salary and Company benefits:

£35,000 - £40,000 per annum depending on experience.
