A market-leading organisation in the manufacturing sector is seeking a committed SHEQ Manager to lead and enhance their Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) operations. The Role

As SHEQ Manager, you will provide strategic leadership for all SHEQ-related activities on-site. This pivotal role involves ensuring compliance with international standards, driving sustainability initiatives, and cultivating a culture of safety and continuous improvement. You will also oversee a dedicated local SHEQ team while contributing to broader group objectives.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide SHEQ leadership across all on-site functions, ensuring alignment with the organisation's values.

* Ensure compliance with international standards, including ISO 9001, 45001, 14001, and 50001.

* Lead the site's sustainability programmes, focusing on energy, waste, water usage, and resource efficiency.

* Identify risks and opportunities, implementing proactive measures to enhance quality, safety, and environmental performance.

* Lead and develop the local SHEQ team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

* Manage investigations and implement effective corrective actions for customer queries and incidents.

* Stay up to date with industry trends, legislative changes, and stakeholder requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

* Technical expertise in manufacturing, engineering, or equivalent.

* Recognised SHEQ qualifications, such as NEBOSH or IEMA (Level 5/6).

* Proven experience in managing health, safety, environmental, and quality systems.

* Familiarity with ISO management systems and lead auditing.

* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.

* A passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
