Spreetail is seeking a Senior Analyst to join our Merchants team. In this role, you will also produce predictive analytics models and business insightsthat the teams can utilize to support key merchant metrics & help drive business decisions.

How you will achieve success:

  • Provide business insights behind the data, identify trends and patterns and direct merchants to focus on business issues?

  • Conduct detailed market, vendor, and channel analysis?

  • Proactively challenge the business owners (Merchandising, Supply Chain, Content, Customer Experience and Channel management teams) performance with clear actions?

  • Establish data monitoring and reporting in partnership with the Data Management team using PowerBI and other data management and presentation tools where applicable?

  • Find ways to extract data and store it in a structured *manner

  • Display data in reporting that can be used within the Merchandising Team and with stakeholders.

  • Help build models with data to project out long-term results or to support long-term planning.

  • Develop, implement (training the receiving organizations to fully take over the daily usage of the SOPs) and drive continuous improvement for Business Analytics processes and SOPs to ensure scalable and repeatable business intelligence operations?

  • Provide analysis and recommendations for actions within the Merchandising team.

  • Conduct Market research and Maintain the pipelines for Go To Market Strategy, Lead Gen, and Sales Funnel?

  • Work with all leadership in the Merchandising Department to prioritize the needs of our team based on financial impact and efficiency to be gained.

  • Use SQL and Power BI to access and display data.

  • Business Acumen/ Data Driven- being able to use the data to tell a story

  • SQL/ Power BI

  • Python/ Coding

  • Market Research

  • Advanced Excel

Ideal Requirements:

  • Understand purchase order life cycle and data points associated with it

  • Purchasing/ Buying/ procurement awareness

  • Ecommerce & Retail Experience
