Teaching Assistant ASC - Preston:

Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced and Level 2 qualified Teaching Assistant to work with a pupil on a 1-1 basis. This will be at a primary school near Preston. This is a full time position and will be encouraging engagement with the curriculum.

You will need a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification and previous experience supporting pupils 1-1.

Contract Details:

  • Location Preston
  • Position: 1-1 TA
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Duration / Likely Duration: Ongoing
  • Hours 8:15am - 3:15pm
  • The minimum rate of pay: £100 per day, depending on experience
  • Type of work: Temporary
  • Full time/part time: Full time only

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience supporting children with Autism is essential
  • Team Teach qualification would be highly desirable
  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification is essential

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide professional references to cover the past 2 years
  • Committed to meeting our rigorous compliance requirements
