AA Euro Group are working with a leading Main Contractor and looking for a Civil Site Manager to join their team for a new Data Centre Project in Wales.

Role Overview:

The Civil Site Manager will be responsible for managing all civil works on a large-scale Data Centre project, overseeing the day-to-day activities on-site to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in civil engineering, and the ability to coordinate with subcontractors, design teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth progress of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Civil Site Manager, you will oversee all on-site civil works, including excavation, foundations, drainage, and groundworks, ensuring compliance with project specifications, designs, and regulations. You will manage the site team and subcontractors, ensuring that all work is completed to the required quality standards and within the project schedule.

You will be responsible for monitoring daily activities, resolving any on-site issues, and ensuring that the project is delivered in line with safety protocols and industry regulations. Regular site inspections, safety briefings, and quality control checks will be part of your role. You will also ensure that all materials and equipment are procured and delivered on time to avoid delays.

Collaboration with the CSA Project Manager and other site teams will be essential, ensuring that civil works are properly integrated with structural and architectural elements. Additionally, you will keep detailed records of progress and report regularly to senior management on project status, risks, and any required adjustments.

Key Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, with 7-10 years of experience in a civil site management role, ideally on large-scale or mission-critical projects such as data centres. Strong knowledge of civil works, including groundworks, drainage, and foundation construction, is essential.

You should have excellent leadership and communication skills, with experience managing site teams and subcontractors. Familiarity with relevant construction standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices is crucial. Proficiency in project management software and experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines are also required
