Our client in Blackburn is seeking an experienced Senior Management Accountant, the successful candidate will be responsible producing management accounts, driving process improvement and handling high volume stock movements. This is a complex business, requiring applicants to have worked in a large business. Experience in handling and analysing large data sets, reconciling high transaction volumes and stock effectively is essential.

Supporting the Financial Controller, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to a high growth business.

Location: Blackburn (full time on site)
Salary: £60,000-£70,000 depending on experience

Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts for multiple business units
- Reconciliation and management of complex data sets and substantial stock transactions and resolving any discrepancies
- Management of group stock reconciliations and intercompany stock movements
- Business partner with each department to discuss performance and drive operational efficiencies
- In-depth margin analysis and review of P&L statements, including commentary
- Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations

Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified, QBE will also be considered
- Strong management accounting skills, preferably within the manufacturing or distribution sector
- Experience in a large business with multiple sites is essential
- Proficiency in Excel and data manipulation skills, including handling large data sets and financial modelling
