We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Project / HSQE Manager to join a rapidly expanding innovative engineering company based near Woodbridge. Working alongside the owners of the business, this exciting opportunity offers the chance to play an integral part in the growth and development of the company. The role is diverse, focused primarily on Project Management, Quality Assurance, Health & Safety and Compliance but will also involve assistance with production planning, purchasing, stock control and general support to enable the business to continue to develop and flourish.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Project management and administration, ensuring client requirements are accurately fulfilled and that all key details of the project are orchestrated so that they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
* Development of project/production plans to monitor and track progress.
* Implementation and maintenance of Health & Safety procedures and Quality standards ensuring full compliance
* Provision of HSQE training and support to employees and contractors.
* Promotion of a culture of continuous improvement in health, safety and quality performance.
* Assistance with procurement of materials, stock control and facilities management
Applicants must:
* Have background in engineering, ideally fabrication
* Be experienced in Health, Safety and Quality management and compliance in an engineering/manufacturing environment.
* Have previously planned, run and administered projects
* Be process driven and detail oriented
* Be able to make decisions balancing practical and commercial considerations
* Have excellent leadership, communication, organizational and team working skills
