Are you a skilled and motivated individual with a passion for operations and supply chain management? We are seeking a talented Operations Coordinator to join our clients team based in Loanhead, Midlothian.

Working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday this is a full time office based role.

As an Operations Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in streamlining their supply chain, ensuring efficient production, and optimizing business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee Supply Chain Management: Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and components.

* Process Orders: Handle incoming orders, raise purchase orders, and confirm sales orders.

* Collaborate with Production: Work closely with the Production Manager to meet production targets and budgets.

* Manage Finances: Process customer invoices and support financial activities.

* Utilize MRP Systems: Leverage MRP software for inventory tracking, production metrics, and performance reporting.

* Build Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with hauliers.

* Drive Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality.

* Ensure Safety: Adhere to health and safety regulations within the production environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

* Proven experience in operations management or a similar manufacturing role.

* Strong understanding of supply chain management principles, particularly within the steel industry.

* Proficiency in MRP and finance software.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* A proactive approach and a commitment to continuous improvement.
