The role would suit a nearly or newly qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA commercially minded individual who is looking for a hands on role within an SME environment, adding ample value to the wider business.Responsibilities include:

• Production of monthly management accounts
• Understanding variances and providing insightful commentary on performance
• Lead in the month end closing process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
• Detailed variance analysis against budget and forecast
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting with the production of the annual statutory accounts and year end audit
• Development of financial models
• Finance business partnering across multiple departments
• Ownership of the cashflow forecasting process
• Assisting with the management of junior team members
• Ongoing process improvements and efficiencies
• Ad hoc project work and supporting future growth of the business
