About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Paid Social Account Director to lead our paid social media efforts in London. As the Paid Social Account Director, you will oversee the development and execution of innovative paid social strategies that drive performance and growth for our clients. This role is ideal for a senior digital marketing professional with a deep understanding of social media platforms, excellent client management skills, and the ability to lead and inspire a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership:

    • Develop and oversee the execution of comprehensive paid social media strategies across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, and emerging channels.
    • Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging platforms, and new technologies to ensure our strategies are cutting-edge and effective.
    • Align paid social strategies with broader marketing objectives, working closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach.
  • Client Management:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, building and maintaining strong relationships, and ensuring client satisfaction.
    • Lead client meetings, providing strategic insights, campaign updates, and performance reports.
    • Develop and present campaign proposals, strategic plans, and post-campaign analysis to clients.
  • Campaign Oversight:

    • Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of paid social campaigns, ensuring they meet client goals and deliver a high return on investment (ROI).
    • Ensure all campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality.
    • Conduct regular reviews of campaign performance, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Team Leadership:

    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of paid social specialists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
    • Provide guidance and support to team members, helping them to develop their skills and advance their careers.
    • Collaborate with other senior leaders within the agency to share knowledge, insights, and best practices.
  • Budget Management:

    • Oversee and manage campaign budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize impact.
    • Monitor campaign spending and performance, making adjustments as needed to stay within budget and achieve client objectives.
    • Provide accurate forecasting and reporting on budget utilization and campaign outcomes.
  • Reporting and Analytics:

    • Utilize analytics tools to track and measure the performance of paid social campaigns, generating detailed reports for clients and internal stakeholders.
    • Provide actionable insights based on data analysis, helping to inform future strategies and decision-making.
    • Lead post-campaign analysis sessions to identify key learnings and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in social media advertising platforms, including Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Twitter Ads, and other relevant tools. Experience with social media analytics tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or similar is essential.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic planning abilities with a deep understanding of how paid social integrates with broader marketing strategies.
  • Client Management: Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to build strong relationships and provide strategic counsel.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and manage a team of social media professionals.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex strategies and results clearly and persuasively.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
