About the role: Are you a compassionate, dedicated, and flexible Teaching Assistant looking for a dynamic and rewarding role? As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will be placed in well-resourced primary schools that support both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students, helping them reach their full potential. This is an ongoing part-time role that provides flexibility to choose which days you are available, allowing you to balance work with other commitments. You will primarily assist in academic boosters, interventions, and support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), making a real impact in their educational journeys. This umbrella role allows you to work in a variety of schools within the borough, providing a varied and engaging experience.

Application Requirements:

• Experience in a teaching assistant role, preferably within a primary school setting.
• Previous experience with Special Educational Needs (SEN) would be highly advantageous.
• A relevant qualification in education or a teaching assistant course is beneficial but not essential.
• A passion for supporting children in their learning and development.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and adapt to different classroom settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teachers in delivering lessons to Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students, ensuring that students are fully engaged and their learning needs are met.
• Assist with small group interventions and one-on-one support for students requiring academic help.
• Work closely with SEN students, providing additional assistance tailored to their individual needs.
• Encourage positive behaviour and foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment.
• Help assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback to the teaching staff.
