Are you passionate about supporting individuals in their journey towards stable housing? Join Conwy County Borough Council as a Move On Officer, where you'll play a crucial role in helping people transition from emergency accommodation to long-term housing solutions.

This is a temporary contract working for 3-6 months with a view to extend.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage and oversee emergency accommodation placements.

* Work closely with clients to prepare them for independent living.

* Support tenancy and property management, ensuring housing benefit and rent collection are maximized.

* Liaise with landlords, housing officers, and agencies to address repairs, tenant concerns, and property standards.

* Promote the “Renting Ready” training package to equip clients with essential tenancy skills.

* Maintain accurate records and provide performance reports on housing allocations and move-on progress.

What We're Looking For:

* Experience in housing, tenancy management, or homelessness support.

* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to work effectively with vulnerable clients and external partners.

* Knowledge of Housing and Homelessness legislation (preferred).

* A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle (essential).
