Job Title: HGV Technician
Location: Portsmouth
Salary: Competitive, up to £50,170 per annum (inclusive of shift allowance) + Overtime Opportunities
Shift: Evenings and Late Shift (Monday to Friday, 10:00 pm - 6:30 am, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break)
Holiday: 20 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays (pro rata for the first year), increasing with service

We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our dynamic team in Portsmouth. This is an exciting opportunity to become a key player in a busy workshop environment, where you will carry out a variety of service, maintenance, and repair tasks on commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

* Inspect and service vehicles to the highest standards.

* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.

* Perform MOT preparation and presentations.

* Address breakdowns and roadside assistance.

* Complete all required paperwork accurately.

What We're Looking For:

* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in HGV repair and maintenance.

* Institute of Vehicle Recovery qualification (desirable).

* Relevant experience in the HGV or commercial vehicle industry.

* A full UK driving licence (HGV licence preferred but not essential).
