About the Role:
As a Field Forklift Engineer, you will be essential to the smooth operation of our clients' forklift fleets. You'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing forklifts on-site, ensuring equipment is safe, reliable, and fully operational. Key Responsibilities:

* Perform routine maintenance and servicing of forklifts at client locations.

* Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.

* Provide technical support and advice to clients on forklift maintenance and usage.

* Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.

* Keep accurate records of work completed, parts used, and service details.

* Proactively identify and address potential issues to minimize equipment downtime for clients.

* Maintain a well-organized van stock, ensuring equipment is ready for use.

Key Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Field Forklift Engineer or in a similar role in the material handling industry.

* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose faults quickly and effectively.

* In-depth knowledge of forklift mechanics, electrics, and hydraulics.

* Excellent customer service skills with a professional, approachable attitude.

* Full UK driving license (company van provided).

* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

* Flexibility to work in various locations and handle diverse tasks.

Desirable Skills:

* Experience with a variety of forklift models and manufacturers.

* Strong electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting experience.
