As Finance Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic development of a Group of companies in Liverpool. You will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team working closely with the Head of Finance and Board of Directors to drive efficiencies, acquisitions and growth across the wider organisation.

Description

Duties and tasks of the Finance Manager:

Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, monitoring KPIs and performance appraisals
Preparing month end management accounts, preparing reports, budgets, variance analysis and financial statement and P&L
Year end accounts production and liaising with external auditors
Presenting MI and company financials to the Board
Operational support and acting as the go-to person for effective communication between the Board and the wider team
To assist in preparing long-term strategic budget planning information
Attending budget holder meetings, presenting figures and discussing variance analysisProfile

To be successful as the Finance Manager you will have:

Part Qualified CIMA/ ACCA
Currently operating at Finance Manager level and working closely with Directors and Senior Leadership Teams
Experience in managing large and complex budgets
Monitoring funding and production of financial reports including monthly management accounts and year end audits
Ability to analyse financial issues and interpret complex information and offer sound and professional advice
Commercial awareness and ability to achieve value for money
Able to work to tight deadlines and communicate company needs to the wider business and stakeholdersJob Offer
