Are you passionate about making a difference in young people's lives? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Tutor to join our team in Banbury. This role involves providing tailored, one-to-one or small group support to secondary school students, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Looked After Children (LAC).

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging, personalised lessons across secondary subjects to meet individual learning needs.
Support students in building confidence, improving academic performance, and developing essential skills.
Adapt teaching strategies to support SEN and LAC students effectively.
Work closely with parents, carers, and educational professionals to track progress and set achievable goals.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant tutoring/teaching experience.
Strong subject knowledge in core secondary subjects (English, Maths, Science, etc.).
Experience supporting SEN and/or LAC students is highly desirable.
Excellent communication, patience, and adaptability.
DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
