RG Consultancy are working with a fantastic SME in Stockport who are recruiting for a Credit Controller, this is a new opportunity to support the finance department with the Credit Control duties. You will work within a small finance team and report to the Finance Manager daily

The Role
- Maintain and manage own ledger
- Managing customer queries, chasing customer payments over the phone and via email
- Management of invoices, statement and delivery notes
- Allocation of cash onto customer accounts
- Liaising with and managing 3rd parties and maintaining strong relationships
- Handling and managing aged debtors
- Other duties may include support across the department to cover annual leave/sickness period (e.g. purchase ledger)
The Person
- An AAT qualification would be an advantage but not essential
- Experience working within a credit control/sales ledger or an all-around accounts role is essential
- Experience with MS Excel and Ms Outlook
- Strong communication skills and confident over the phone
