An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Passive Fire Protection client as a Fire Safety Surveyor working in the Midlands region.

Role responsibilities

* Conducting thorough fire compartmentation and Fire Door surveys across a variety of building types, including commercial, residential, and industrial.

* Identifying and assessing fire-stopping issues, breaches in fire barriers, and compliance with fire safety regulations.

* Preparing detailed reports, including recommendations for remediation and ensuring all work meets current fire safety standards.

* Liaising with clients, contractors, and project managers to communicate findings and provide expert guidance on fire compartmentation solutions.

* Ensuring all surveys are completed in line with current fire safety regulations and building codes.

About you

* Experience in compartmentation and fire door surveying is essential for this role.

* Proven experience in fire compartmentation surveys and knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g., BS 9999, BS 9991, etc.).

* Familiar with survey recording software/apps/ systems such as OneTrace, Boris, Bolster etc.

* Strong understanding of passive fire protection systems, fire doors, and fire-stopping materials.

* Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple projects.

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for report writing and client interaction.

* Full UK driving license
