To ensure the smooth running of the Transport office across your area.

As a Transport Section Leader: we can offer you:

* £35000 per annum

* Working Hours: Monday - Friday

​​​​​​​Responsibilities

* Take ownership of the Transport office and your staff

* Manage your staff that report directly to you

* Ensure that all areas of your department as per responsibilities set out in their job description are met and completed daily and on time

* Ensure your team know what you expect of them, and all daily tasks are covered on any one day

* Ensure training and development is in place for your team

* Ensure fleet is legal & road worthy

* Educated & encourage your teams to take ownership of their roles

* Identify any training needs

* Ensure audits are regularly carried out on your team

* Monitor spends in terms of agnecy etc

* Raise POs as needed

* Review and answer all invoice queries

* Ensure Return to Works are completed

* Carry out any investigations as requested including disciplinary if deemed

* Produce reports/KPI's as requested

* Cover other Section Leaders during holiday periods or sickness
