We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Cylinder Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and replacing valves on gas cylinders, ensuring all safety protocols are strictly followed. Full training will be provided for the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure Safety First: Make sure both valves are without pressure before starting any work. Check that the dials on the cylinder are showing zero.
Valve Maintenance: Use the appropriate tools to loosen the valves, then clean them thoroughly using suction tools.
Valve Replacement: Install new valves onto the cylinders. Tighten the valves using the designated tool until it clicks,and ensure the tightening tool is set to 25.
Safety Check: Re-open the valve and spray on gas leak detector solution. If no gas is detected, close the valve. If bubbles appear, this indicates a gas leak—take the necessary steps to release the pressure and address the leak.
Cylinder Handling: Safely roll cylinders on and off stillages, following all handling protocols.

Requirements:
FLT Counterbalance License: Must have an in-date Counterbalance License.
Attention to Detail: A strong commitment to safety and precision in your work.
Physical Fitness: Ability to handle cylinders and perform manual tasks as required.

Hours:
Monday to Friday from 8am - 5pm

Pay Rate:
£11.44 - £12.50 per hour
