Credit Control Assistant

Day-to-day of the role:

• Manage your own aged debt ledger, ensuring timely payment from customers.
• Raise invoices and chase customers daily to maintain a healthy cash flow.
• Collaborate closely with managers and directors, providing frequent updates on aged debt reports for transparency.
• Work in tandem with the Invoicing team to streamline processes.
• Resolve queries efficiently, maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Assist with the preparation of management reports and participate in ad hoc project work as directed by the Head of Finance Operations.
• Liaise with the Accounting team at Head Office to ensure cohesive financial management.
• Support the integration of Credit Control tasks for new acquisitions, contributing to the smooth expansion of the business.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a Credit Control position.
• Ability to work collaboratively with various finance teams and departments.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, including pivot tables and lookups.
• Familiarity with financial systems, Access Dimensions is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A flexible, enthusiastic, and proactive approach to work.
