Import/Goods Inwards Analyst
Stevenage | 12 Month Contract | £23ph Umbrella | 37 hours per week

We are working with a renowned manufacturing giant based in Stevenage who have a great opportunity for an Import Analyst/Goods Inwards Inspector to join them on a 12 month contract.

Role Responsibilities

Ensure goods received match purchase order requirement and remain compliant.
Verification of procured product in line with contractual conditions.
Analyse assembly drawings to assess dimensional tolerances
Examine the finish of parts, detect any faulty finishing or painting, deterioration of surfaces, etc.
Undertake first off inspections
Produce quality control documentation
Control defected items via segregation from good product.
Raise and maintain relevant defect reports.
Maintain product verification approval process via regular audits.
Inspection of PCB
Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process.
Contribute to the maintenance of an orderly and safe working environment.
Person Specification

Level 3 (NVQ/HNC/TR23/TR21) Technical Engineering or Craft Apprenticeship
1-2 years previous experience in similar role, advantageous.
Background working in aerospace, defence, military - beneficial.
SAP experience, beneficial.
