About the Role:
We are looking for adaptable and enthusiastic KS1 Supply Teachers to work flexibly across primary schools in the Selby area. As a KS1 Supply Teacher, you'll have the unique opportunity to support children's learning in a variety of settings, helping them build foundational skills and develop a love of learning.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured KS1 lessons, fostering curiosity and creativity.
- Quickly adapt to new classroom environments and support children's learning in line with the KS1 curriculum.
- Create a positive, safe, and inclusive environment that promotes each child's growth and well-being.
- Collaborate with school staff, follow school policies, and manage behaviour effectively.
- Ensure all students feel valued and supported in their educational journey.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in Key Stage 1.
- Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and teaching best practices.
- Effective classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to various school settings.
- Flexibility, enthusiasm, and a commitment to inspiring young learners.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo a DBS check).
