Job title: HVAC Systems Support EngineerJob location: CreweRates: £45,000 - £50,000 per annumShifts: Mon - Fri daysDuration: Permanent roleStart date: ASAPCompany Summary:A global leader in Rolling Stock vehicle manufacturing, service and maintenance.Purpose of the role :To work within the existing Crewe engineering team to facilitate the proposed HVAC internalisation plan for Crewe.Responsibilities:* To perform HVAC Overhauls and repairs.* HVAC type test and routine testing.* Replace unit defects* To support the creation of Bills of Materials (BOMs) for the overhaul process.* Refrigerant changes and subsequent system redesign* Partial and full system redesign * To work with the manufacturing supporting with general fault finding and rectification* Establishing tooling best practices* Responding to safety issues raised with corrective actions* To be the lead on overhaul modernisation programs, working with UK and Global teams to facilitate the introduction into the Crewe facility.* To have an awareness and appreciation of global HVAC trends, e.g. refrigerant availability, implication's regarding energy efficiencies* To read electrical schematics * To have worked with and understand BUS network systems along with vehicle diagnostic tools which are used in on train control and communication of HVAC equipment.Qualifications:* Degree or Higher Certificate in engineering/technical discipline is preferred* F - Gas category 2 certificate is essential* Knowledge of HVAC processes such as Brazing, Use of gasses, System vaccuming* Knowledge of a maintenance management system BOM management, SAPIF YOU WISH TO APPLY FOR THIS ROLE PLEASE CAN YOU SEND A COPY OF YOUR CV TOGETHER WITH YOUR PASSPORT or ID.PLEASE NOTE ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO PASS AN DRUGS AND ALCOHOL TEST BEFORE BEING OFFERED A POSITION (this is standard procedure on Rail depots)Contact Information:Email: Phone: Please note due to the volume of applications, we can only commit to contact those candidates we deem suitable for the position.
