Team Manager - Cared for Childrens team
Salary up to £50,512 PLUS market supplement paid monthly.

An exciting new opportunity has come up to join my client based in the North East area. They are looking for a new experienced Team Manager to join their Cared for Childrens team. This team works with children and young people who are currently in their care. Supporting children and their families who have a plan to live outside of family care.

About the role, you will be:

  • You will be responsible for leading, managing and coaching your team responsible for delivering and improving services for vulnerable children, young people, and their families
  • You will report to the service manager and work closely with other team managers across the service
  • Recruiting and supervising staff
  • Holding individual and group supervision and ensuing staff performance is to top standard.
  • Ensuring appropriate case allocation across the team.
  • Promote a child centred work across the team
  • Work in partnership with multi agencies to achieve the best possible outcomes for the children and families

About you:
As a Team Manager you will need to have significant experience working within children and family services. Ideally you will have:

  • Experience of working within a variety of teams within children's services ideally cared for teams
  • Proven track record of statutory social work experience
  • Sound and robust legal framework knowledge
  • SWE registered.
  • Full UK drivers license
  • Right to work in the UK
