Our client is a global leader of manufacturing bespoke and intelligent solutions for vehicles. Their products are sold all over the world with a huge presence in the UK.

Working within an established engineering team you will undertake a range of mechanical and electrical tasks relating to the repair, maintenance and build projects for their fleet of vehicles and equipment

What's involved for the Workshop Mechanic…

Carry out maintenance and repair on a wide range of commercial vehicles
Carry out refurbishments and accident damage repair work
Bodybuilding work with welding where appropriate
Go to customer site visits as and when required
Deal with all mechanical and electrical work on vehicles
Fault find and diagnose electrical issues

What you'll need…

Commercial vehicle, HGV, LGV, Agricultural, FLT, heavy plant machinery or automotive engineering background
MUST have mechanical and electrical vehicle experience
Hydraulic experience ideal
Welding skills advantageous
Ability to interpret technical information
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate at all levels
Good written and verbal communication skills

This is a Full time, permanent Workshop Mechanic role, working Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4pm (flexible).
