Overview

ICSR is a new, fast growing and exciting consultancy which is focused on the Insurance sector. We provide advisory and resourcing for our clients across a range of areas including Governance, Risk, Compliance, Underwriting Controls, IT, HR, Claims, Complaints and Project Management.

The business has big ambitions in the UK market in the coming years and is targeting both significant growth across all products and services that it offers and the development of new products and services including support to clients on all aspects of their businesses.


How you'll make an impact

Working with Risk & Compliance Directors of ICSR, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the delivery of compliance support and services to ICSR's clients on compliance related issues including overseeing the activities of Compliance Consultants working for clients on compliance related issues, with a particular focus on carrier experience.
You will be responsible for developing the compliance aspects of the ICSR business by attracting new clients and business to ICSR on a commercially sound basis producing profit to ICSR but also with a view to longer term relationships and increased client retention.
Marketing via meeting clients in person or using Teams or telephone, attending market events, writing articles, providing market briefings on relevant topics and otherwise improving the market and potential client visibility of ICSR in an appropriate manner and as agreed with the other Directors of ICSR.
Proactively driving forward the long-term strategy of the business using your skills to assist in delivering the business's long term strategic objectives.

Manage delivery of compliance advice and services to clients.
Manage Compliance Consultants involved in the delivery of compliance services to clients.
Utilising your contacts, grow the business and develop the ICSR client base by marketing to clients and potential clients.
Introduce fee generating new business.
Be responsible for ensuring the publication on the ICSR website of at least 6 articles per year.
Development of ICSR's approach to client services relating to compliance.
Develop and create ICSR templates and the Resource Centre relating to ICSR's compliance offering.
Work with the Risk & Compliance Director to create value in the business by helping improve client retention.
Identify areas where the firm may be able to increase its services and client base.


About You

Strong knowledge of the Lloyds/London market insurance market.
Ability to work on both strategic and macro initiatives and work within detailed business plans and processes.
Experience in managing a Compliance team.
Experience in advising firms on compliance related issues.
An understanding of the regulatory obligations for insurance businesses.
Capable of training individuals and groups of people on technical requirements in Compliance in the insurance market.
Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and influencing skills with high EQ.
An understanding of the importance of creating and maintaining a high reputation for ICSR.

An effective communicator with a collaborative working style. A keen networker.
Highly motivated with a willingness to go the extra mile to get results.
Adaptable to rapid change and can work in situations of ambiguity to get the best results.
