Blayze Group are currently working with one of our clients, who are a leading Residential Developer looking to recruit a Senior Technical Coordinator for their prestigious development in West London.

Reporting into the Head of Technical, you will be tasked with managing the technical coordination and design activities of 3 RC Frame blocks.

Key Responsibilities -

Prepare technical specification in line with requirements determined by the land acquisition budget, technical and sales information
Ensure all statutory enquiries, crossovers, sewer connections are submitted and pursued for their timely return
Oversee the NHBC/building regulations applications to approval
Recognise problems and present appropriate commercial solutions speedily and communicate this in an effective manner
Support Technical Managers on job running and lead where necessary
Manage and inspire external consultants in the preparation and issue of production information to an agreed programme
Issue drawings and information for construction purposes, using the correct protocols as instructed by the Technical Director
Liaise with Architects, Engineers and sub-contractors for information
Internal liaison with Planning, Commercial, Construction and Sales
Prepare and monitor technical specifications
Facilitate information to assist with Party Wall Awards and any other 3rd party legal matters
Resolve technical queries on designs during the design and construction phase of the development
Monitor all consultant design information to the agreed programme
Manage fees and consultant appointmentsExperience Required -

Experience in successfully managing and providing technical guidance to residential and commercial developments.
Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management qualification.
Strong knowledge of RIBA plan of work and statutory compliance requirements.
Commercially aware and capable of managing consultants' appointment.
Knowledge of contract management and contract law.
Knowledge of the design process at pre-construction and construction stages with a main contractor or developer.On offer -
