Are you an experienced and dedicated ICT teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in a vibrant secondary school in Birmingham?
Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a Secondary Qualified ICT Teacher to join a reputable mainstream mixed secondary school after this October half term. This long-term supply role has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate, offering a minimum term commitment. Competitive pay rates available from day 1 on supply, ranging from £154-£239 per day PAYE, depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Teach KS3 and KS4 ICT, planning, preparing, marking, and delivering engaging lessons.
- Demonstrate recent experience teaching ICT in a UK school, specifically at the GCSE level.
- Foster a positive learning environment and ensure students' progress and engagement.
- Collaborate with the supportive and friendly staff in the school community.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant academic qualifications.
- Proven experience teaching KS3 and KS4 ICT in a UK school setting.
- Ability to plan, prepare, mark, and deliver high-quality ICT lessons to GCSE level.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for promoting student learning.
- Commitment to providing an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
