Nursery Room Leader - Baby Room

Salary: £28,000-£30,000

40 hours per week

As a Baby Nursery Room Leader, you'll play a vital role in providing high-quality care, education, and a nurturing atmosphere for babies. Your days will be filled with engaging activities, fostering strong relationships with parents, and creating a safe and stimulating space where babies can thrive.

To thrive in this role, you'll showcase:
  • A minimum Level 3 qualification in early years education, proving your dedication to the field.
  • Proven expertise in working with babies in a nursery setting, demonstrating your ability to create a nurturing and developmentally enriching environment.
  • Strong leadership, mentorship, and teamwork skills, showcasing your ability to guide and inspire a team while fostering a collaborative environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures, underscoring your commitment to the safety and wellbeing of the little ones in our care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building strong, trust-based relationships with parents and staff, making everyone feel part of our inclusive family.
  • Understanding and commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion in early childhood education, ensuring every child feels valued and celebrated for who they are.

In this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with fellow nursery leaders and staff to ensure a cohesive and well-rounded childcare program that sparks joy and meets the developmental needs of every baby.
  • Actively participating in staff meetings, training, and professional development to stay updated with the latest best practices and innovative childcare techniques.
