As part of a team, you'll work on one of our vessels, working on a 3 weeks on, 3 weeks off rotation. Your responsibilities will include ship board maintenance, service operations and assisting with maintaining working stores levels. You can look forward to plenty of variety, so you must be keen to build your knowledge and skills and enhance the contribution this position makes to the deck department. The ability to quickly get to grips with new technology is also important. Experience working on aft working Gas/Oil Supply type vessels and or anchor handling vessels would be an advantage however full training of our operations will be undertaken.

We would love to hear from you if you have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Qualification to minimum of Efficient Deck Hand;
  • Evidence of seamanship skills;
  • Knowledge and practical experience of boat handling skills preferred but not essential as training will be given;
  • A current ENG 1 Medical Certificate;
  • Basic IT skills including an understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and e-mailing would be preferred but not essential as training will be given;
  • Knowledge of service operations carried out on board;
  • Knowledge of safety issues and their application onboard;
  • An understanding of the ISM Code and its practical application on board;
  • An understanding of the ISPS Code and its practical application on board.
