Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Leicester / Leicestershire

Position: Primary School HLTA / Cover supervisor

Location: Leicester / Leicestershire

Start date: ASAP

Career Teachers are currently working with some great schools based in Leicestershire to recruit Cover supervisors and HLTA's.

The job role will include providing support and helping teachers to plan and organise classes across the school. You will have to be confident teaching lessons when covering teachers for whole classes. You will also need to have knowledge of the primary curriculum and be a confident classroom practitioner to able to support class teachers to deliver high quality lessons and intervention for small groups.

Requirements:

Fully qualified HLTA status (Level 4) or QTS
Teaching a class with the support of teaching assistants
Start asap
Previous experience of teaching in primary school (references required)
An enhanced DBS on the update service (we can process one if necessary)What will you get?
