Warehouse Supervisor

Here at Winner Recruitment we are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to work for our Client based in Ecclesfield on a Temp to Perm basis.

Monday To Friday 7:30am-4pm

Job Duties:

Conduct S & R team brief on a daily basis.
    Ensure all staff carry out the duties they have been assigned to.
    All M.H.E pre-use checks to be carried out before use at the start of every shift.
    All aisles to be monitored and kept as clear as possible.
    All aisles to be kept clear going forward.
    Returns to be ready to process incoming goods on a same day basis up to 3pm.(only 1 member of staff should be needed going forward).
    Reply and investigate all emails from the customer service team.
    Ensure spares have work at the start of every day.
    Be in a position where we are building up SPN pallets as we are canning to avoid build up.
    Improve the stacking of pallets that are for despatch.  Ensure all materials required for packaging are ordered accordingly.
    Ensure housekeeping is of a high standard at all times with a daily clean up from 3.40pm(up to the middle aisle).  Maximise storage in the Annex bulk area and recycle stillages.
    Conduct 1 to 1 reviews every month.
    Carry out return to work interviews.
    Report and log all near misses and document.
    All training to be documented and logged.
    Spares project must prioritised whenever possible.  Improve relations with admin.
    Ensure all stock is on pallets not on the floor.
    Ensure pre-use inspection sheets are available at all times.
    Delegate tasks rather than fail by doing everything yourself.
    Improve planning.
    Monitor breaks.
    Find a solution rather than an excuse.
    Follow and carry out instructions given by your line manager.

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Knowledge of warehouse software and MS Office
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
