A dynamic and innovative Planning and development consultancy with the eagerness to succeed whilst operating within their own values are seeking an Associate or Principal Planner. You will play an integral part in the success and growth of this well established organisation.

Salary: £50,000 to £65,000

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm

Your main responsibilities are will be;

Responsible for delivering the objectives of the company positioning statement to provide clear realistic advice with a personalised service
Dealing with a wide range of planning work supporting senior colleagues with capability to work independently
Developing and managing client relationships, responsible for business development activity and working towards self-sufficiency in work generation.
Preparing written fee proposals for clients following practice templates and guidelines
Undertaking planning history and policy research independently and accurately
Undertaking site visits and preparing written and visual record independently and accurately
Preparing written site appraisals for clients to provide clear record of findings and advice
Providing written and verbal planning advice to clients to provide clear recommendationsTo be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following;

Range of varied and solid planning experience
Good understanding and ability in a range of planning work
Good commercial understanding of development projects
Basic commercial understanding of planning consultancy business
Chartered Planner/RTPI Member
