Deputy Nursery Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Deputy Nursery Manager to assist the manager and oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for working with children and ideally have previous leadership or supervisory, managerial experience and skills.

We are seeking someone with either a NVQ, BTEC, NNEB, CACHE Diploma Level 3 in Childcare and Early Years Education, or Montessori Teaching Qualification, QTS (Qualified Teaching Status) or BA Degree in Early Years Education from Uk or Overseas University.

Duties

* Lead and manage the nursery team alongside Manager, providing guidance and support to staff members.

* Develop and implement, oversee educational curriculum in line with the EYFS that promotes children's learning and development.

* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain high standards of health and safety and safeguarding.

* Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and staff team to build strong relationships.

* Monitor children's progress through regular assessments and observations, adapting programs as necessary.

* Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's reputation within the community.

* Show rounds with new families
