Rotherham based Interim Manufacturing Accountant 6 Month Contract January start £45,000 - £55,000 Elevation Recruitment Group is exclusively partnering with a leading manufacturing business based in Rotherham to recruit a Manufacturing Accountant. This is an exciting 6-month contract to support the business through a period of transformation, with the role set to commence in January.Key Responsibilities: 

• Analyse and manage cost of goods sold (COGS), production costs, and variances
• Oversee stock valuations and monitor inventory levels for accurate reporting
• Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts aligned with production schedules
• Prepare management accounts, monthly reports, and financial statements
• Proficient in manufacturing ERP systems
• Identify and implement cost-saving and efficiency improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and support audit preparations
• Collaborate with production, supply chain, and procurement teams
• Maintain and update standard costing models to reflect accurate costs
• Investigate and report on variances between standard and actual costs
• Monitor cash flow impacts related to procurement and production cycles

Key Skills: 

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified or QBE
• Proven experience in manufacturing accounting, including cost and variance analysis
• Proficiency in ERP systems and inventory management
• Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities
