Health & Safety Coordinator

We are seeking a proactive Health & Safety Coordinator to support our Global Client's Health and Safety Manager in maintaining a safe, compliant, and safety-conscious workplace. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on workplace health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining health & safety policies and procedures.

* Conduct risk assessments and safety inspections, identifying hazards and ensuring corrective actions are taken.

* Deliver engaging safety training to employees on procedures, equipment use, and emergency protocols.

* Investigate workplace incidents, determine root causes, and recommend preventive measures.

* Maintain accurate safety records, including incident reports, training logs, and compliance documentation.

* Support emergency response planning and ensure readiness for potential incidents.

* Promote a strong safety culture, encouraging proactive hazard reporting and safe working practices.

* Ensure safety equipment is maintained, fully operational, and compliant with regulations.

* Stay informed of industry regulations and best practices to keep the company compliant.

The Person

* A degree or certification in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred

* At least 2 years' experience in health & safety within the manufacturing sector.

* Strong knowledge of H&S regulations and compliance in manufacturing.

* Experience in risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.

* Ability to develop and deliver effective training programs.

* Knowledge of hazardous materials management and emergency response planning.

* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret safety data and drive improvements.

* Proficiency in safety management software & Microsoft Office.

* A proactive, safety-first attitude with excellent communication and leadership skills.
