Overview
We are actively seeking a talented Design Development Manager/ Head of Development candidate for one of our key clients in the Midlands area. This is a permanent, full time role with plenty of opportunity to grow and development, with a business that supports internal promotion and career progression.
What We Are Looking For:
* Fluent with 3d solid modelling software such as; Solid works, Solid Edge, Inventor or similar software to produce technical designs and drawings for Retail Display equipment.
* Proactively lead, develop and manage the design team, providing first class assistance and over sight on a range of design projects.
* Manage CAD files and the design workflow
* Ensure all materials sourced are fit for purpose, and over see all work flow coming in and going out of the department. Alongside the management of CAD files and workflow.
What Skills You Should Have;
* Proficient using the required software: e.g. SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Inventor, and other design software.
* Strong understanding of technical design principles and best practices.
* Able to manage and lead teams of varying disciplines.
* Excellent communications skills at all levels and experience dealing directly with the client.
