Due to significant expansion, a £15m turnover manufacturing business is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join their successful team.

As Technical Sales Engineer you will be responsible for selling industry leading products to a global customer base. You will enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and the opportunity to grow and develop your career.

As Technical Sales Engineer you will:

* Engage directly with customers to understand and fulfill their requirements

* Identify and pursue new business opportunities

* Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing customers

* Manage the entire process from initial enquiry through manufacturing to final delivery including the creation of detailed specifications

* Consult with customers to design tailored solutions that meet their expectations

* Prepare detailed costing and compliance matrixes ensuring that solutions align with customers agreements

* Ensure all products comply with latest industry regulations and guidance

* Create persuasive quotes and engaging customer presentations

* Collaborate with the design and production teams to track project budgets and time-scales

* Travel and meet existing and new customers to maintain relationships

Skills and Experience Required:

* Proven track record as a sales engineer, ideally in manufacturing/engineering

* Sales acumen

* Relationship building

* Customer service expertise

* Project life-cycle management

* Problem solving, and time management

Salary and benefits include:

* £30,000 to £40,000 depending on experience
