About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Commercial Administrator to join a leading and well-established housebuilding company in Newcastle. This is a temporary position that offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience with a reputable employer in the construction industry. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative support to the commercial team and contribute to the smooth operation of various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide administrative support to the commercial team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

* Assist in the preparation and processing of documentation related to contracts, tenders, and orders.

* Maintain accurate records and databases, including supplier and subcontractor information.

* Manage and organize filing systems, both electronically and physically.

* Coordinate and track project timelines and deadlines, ensuring compliance with company policies.

* Communicate effectively with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services.

* Assist in the preparation of cost reports, budgets, and other financial documentation.

* Handle general office duties such as answering calls, emails, and scheduling meetings.

Key Requirements:

* Previous experience in a commercial administration role, ideally within the construction or housebuilding sector.

* Strong organisational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to manage competing priorities.

* Strong problem-solving skills and a can-do approach
