Job title: Electrical Fitter
Starting Salary: £40,000
Working hours: Monday to Friday 6am - 4pm / 8am-6pm.
Overtime rates: x1.5 and x2 for any sundays or bank holidays worked

The Business:

Operating nationally across three facilities, our client specialises in treating and recycling liquid chemicals, handling in excess of 200,000 tonnes per year.

The site in Ilkeston has very high job security, you will be working in a recession proof industry and there are no competitors within 150 miles of this site!

Engineering department is close knit with a loyal team that boasts high retention rate of staff, management have been with the company for over 10 years.

The role: Electrical Fitter

*

Electrical maintenance across the site, repairing a range of machinery/equipment including conveyors.

*

Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance.

*

Control panel wiring.

*

Replacing Single and three phase motors.

Hiring requirements:

* City & Guilds, NVQ or BTEC Level 3 in Electrical installation, manufacture or maintenance, ideally gained through a recognised apprenticeship.

* 5 Years of experience as an Electrical Fitter, Maintenance Electrician, Maintenance Engineer, Service Engineer or Ex-Forces engineer.
