About the role:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our team part-time, focusing on boosters for low-achieving students. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our young learners. You will work closely with small groups, providing targeted interventions to help them achieve their full potential.

This vacancy has arisen due to a new addition to our team, reflecting our ongoing commitment to providing the best support for our students. Working two days per week, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Key Stage 1 students. Our small class sizes ensure that you can offer personalised attention and create meaningful connections with your students.

Application Requirements:

• A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to their development.

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational role.

• Strong understanding of Key Stage 1 curriculum and interventions for low-achieving students.

• Patience, empathy, and the ability to engage and motivate students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted interventions and booster sessions to small groups of low-achieving students.

• Support the classroom teacher in planning and delivering lessons.

• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.

• Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
