The StoryAxon Moore are currently partnered with an exciting and high growth Technology business in sourcing a high calibre Finance Director, based in Manchester. Our client are overseeing a transformation project which will lead to significant development across the finance function of which you be leading. Given the trajectory of our client there is a likelihood you will be involved in a running the process for gaining external investment across the next 12-18 months. The Role-        As number 1 in finance you will be working closely with the CEO to deliver strategic initiatives including potential M&A opportunities-        Leading and developing a team of 8 full and part qualified accountants-        Utilising data effectively to deliver quality MI to drive commercial decision making-        Developing the monthly board pack including commentary and delivering to the rest of the board-        Ensuring a continually fit for purpose and compliant finance function during a period of growth and change-        Business partnering with non-finance to drive efficiencies across the business including pricing, product and marketing-        Providing financial models, 5 year plan, forecasts and budgets-        Managing the year end processes including leading the external audit-        Other ad-hoc duties as requiredThe Individual-        Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)-        Experience managing and developing a team-        Exposure to a smaller, highly agile business-        Experience of supporting a PE or VC event is highly desirable but not essential-        Hands-on, comfortable performing a variety of tasks yet able to operate strategically-        Strong technical accounting skills-        Experience in the technology sector is highly desirableBenefits-        Flexible working, 3 days on-site, variable start and finish times if required-        Package up to £120k + bonus-        Life Assurance and competitive pension scheme
