Overview

This well-known agency is looking to appoint a new Senior Management Accountant based at their large shared service centre based in Sutton Coldfield

In a client-facing role with a wide variety of external stakeholders to manage, this role will see you take responsibility for an increasing overseeing a small portfolio of contracts. Reporting to Head of Finance, the information you and your produce will be used to support decision making across the entire business, giving you valuable exposure to the drivers behind commercial business performance.

You will also provide KPI reports, performance analysis and detailed commentary for a variety of key account managers, champion continuous process improvement initiatives, liaise with senior finance people in other divisions about their results and generally gain broad exposure in a fast-paced and successful business.

What is required;

• Be a qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) with demonstrable experience of producing complex management accounts, reports and analysis in a commercial environment;
• Have good technical accounting skills, with lots of knowledge about the basics of management accounting;
• Be an assured communicator, have confidence/conviction when dealing with more senior people and possess the difficult skill of managing expectations across several networks very effectively;
• Have exeprience workinh in a service environment and therefore have experience with WIP reporting and deferred revenue.
