Dual OFSTED Registered Manager
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £55,000 + Equity shares
Leader Recruitment Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Children's Home Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of 2 children's residential homes, ensuring compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and maintaining a safe, nurturing, and high-quality environment for young people.
Key Responsibilities:- Operational Management: Oversee the daily running of the homes, ensuring they meet all legislative, contractual, and safeguarding requirements.
- Leadership & Team Development: Supervise, coach, and develop a team of approximately 14 staff, ensuring high standards of care and professional practice.
- Safeguarding & Welfare: Promote and ensure the welfare, health, and education of young people, working closely with social workers and external agencies.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance: Maintain compliance with Ofsted regulations, Children's Homes Regulations, and Quality Standards to achieve Good or Outstanding ratings.
- Financial & Resource Management: Assist in budget preparation, manage allocated resources effectively, and ensure financial targets are met.
- Strategic Planning & Improvement: Implement changes in legislation and best practices to continuously enhance service delivery.
Requirements:- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
- Minimum two years' experience in residential care and at least one year in a supervisory/management role
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and regulatory requirements
- Experience working with external agencies, social workers, and professionals
- Ability to manage budgets, interpret financial information, and ensure efficient resource allocation
- Strong IT skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Full UK driving licence
