Role: Technical Engineering Lead 

Location: Harlow, Essex

Hours: Full time 

Salary: Up to £60,000 + Benefits

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Technical Engineering Leader to join our clients successful team.

Supplying some of the best-known names in the world across a broad range of sectors including aviation, automotive, consumer and industrial electronics, marine, medical, retail, vending, telecommunications and energy, our client is renowned for delivering small batch high precision products with the capability to switch between products and assemblies as demand requires.  

Duties of Technical Engineering Lead 

Overseeing day-day function for develop designers, supervisors, skilled workers in design, engineers etc 
Implement strategies to expand and retain current clients in various sectors 
Implement lean principles, quality systems and experience managing people (Essential)
Basic financial understanding for costing/margins 
Ability to improve current process's for performance in all areas 
Handling specific technical project related matters as appropriate
What we would like from you:

Degree/Masters in a Mechanical Engineering discipline 
Extensive leadership experience 
Excellent commercial engineering knowledge in a precision sheet metal engineering environment
