Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and dynamic science lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (and possibly Key Stage 5).
Develop and implement creative teaching plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
Foster an enthusiasm for science through practical experiments, interactive lessons, and real-world applications.
Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support them in achieving their academic goals.
Collaborate with the science department and other colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school's development.
Maintain a safe and effective learning environment that encourages student participation and growth.
The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
A strong passion for science and the ability to engage students in the subject.
Experience teaching science at secondary school level (experience in teaching across multiple science disciplines is desirable).
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to differentiate lessons to cater to students with varying levels of ability.
