Salary: £25 - £30/hour

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Specialist Tutor to deliver high-quality functional skills tuition in Maths and/or English. In this role, you will work one-to-one or in small groups with SEN learners, tailoring lessons to meet their individual needs and helping them achieve both academic and practical success.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging functional skills tuition in Maths and/or English to SEN students.
Develop and implement personalised lesson plans that address individual learning gaps.
Adapt teaching strategies to suit the unique needs of learners with additional challenges.
Monitor student progress and provide regular, constructive feedback to learners and their families.
Collaborate with other professionals and parents to ensure a consistent, supportive learning approach.
Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of teaching/tutoring experience in functional skills (Maths or English).
Extensive experience working with SEN children.
Right to work in the UK.
Must have, or be willing to undertake, an enhanced DBS check.
Desired Qualifications:

PGCE in Maths or English and/or QTS is highly desirable.
Additional SEN-specific training or qualifications are a plus.
