Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement Lead/Consultant for a 2-month contract in Cwmbran. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving operational efficiency, streamlining processes, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the organization. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver impactful changes in a short timeframe, working with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and reducing waste.
- Identify key areas for improvement through data analysis, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement.
- Collaborate with teams across the business to implement Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to streamline processes.
- Develop and implement strategies that drive sustainable improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals.
- Provide expert consultation, coaching, and training to staff on continuous improvement practices and methodologies.
- Track and report on project progress, ensuring clear communication of results and performance metrics to senior management.
- Ensure all initiatives comply with industry standards and health & safety regulations.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to build a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.

Key Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in a Continuous Improvement Lead or Consultant role.
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and other relevant process improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt preferred).
- Demonstrable experience in leading and delivering successful continuous improvement projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and drive fact-based decision-making.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and engage teams at all levels.
- Proficiency in using relevant CI tools such as process mapping, root cause analysis, and value stream mapping.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience within manufacturing, engineering, or related industries is highly desirable
