Salary: £28,907.57 per annum plus Veolia benefits - Paid weekly

Hours: 48 Hours per week, Early starts, Monday to Friday 4am / 5am start

Occasional Saturday working will be required.

What you'll be doing;
  • Drive and operate vehicles supplied by Veolia, after receiving the relevant training.
  • It is the driver's responsibility to ensure that all road traffic legislation (including parking restrictions) is adhered to.
  • Ensure that each day all completed work is detailed on your daily worksheet and that they are handed in daily/weekly along with the daily vehicle check sheets, fuel receipts and Weighbridge tickets.
  • Ensure the client is treated courteously and respectfully and that their requirements are complied with where safe to do so.
  • Comply with all traffic laws and legislation in relation to your duties including the security and weight of loads.
  • Ensure all road traffic legislation and tacho driving hours are adhered to.
  • Report any accidents and complete the relevant accident/incident report form.
  • Be aware of the obligations of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and follow the code of safe working practices for Disposal and Haulage.
  • Carry out duties as required by your supervisor or Manager.

What we're looking for;
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Previous driving experience within a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be able to work as part of a team
